I love boots! =] Last week I went to the main place mall and got two pairs of boots! I got a pair of boots that are white, but more like a cream color, and I got a pair of grey boots! I had gone to buy some brown boots but they didn't have my size in the style I liked. =[ Even though I didn't find my brown boots I couldn't leave empty handed so I bought two other pairs! =]
This week I went to the mall again and I found two cute sweaters, well they look more like long sleeve shirts, that matched my boots! =] I was so happy so I bought a creamy colored sweater-shirt and an grey one! =]
I love to go shopping and I always buy myself what I want and I still want my brown boots so this weekend I'm going to go out and try to buy some! =]

Marie Antoinette
When I was in 6th grade I read "Marie Antoinette Princess of Versailles" by Kathryn Lasky, it was part of the Royal Diaries Series. I remember I loved that book and I read it like six times in a row. About a month ago I saw it in my book shelf and I decided to read it again. It may sound silly since I have read it so many times, but it was about six years ago that I read it and I have a totally new way of viewing things and I found that I have a much better understanding of the book and I appreciate and value it a lot more. =]
I am taking History 110B and I absolutely love that class, we talked about King Louis XIV and I remembered Marie Antoinette was married to his grandson. that was the main reason I reread the book. =] Well, after I read it I researched more about Marie Antoinette and I saw that a movie was made about her in 2005. I have an uncle who loves movies and is always getting new movies he doesn't have, so i called him and asked him to get me the movie "Marie Antoinette" whenever he went out to buy movies. Finally this weekend he came over and brought me the movie! =]
I watched it twice and I loved it! I knew a lot of the characters and events that happened because I had recently read the book again, but seeing it in a movie was a lot of fun! =]
I recommend people to watch it because the actors do a great job in portraying her life! =]
I love the way the characters dress and the palace she lived in was absolutely beautiful! =]
I definately have to go and see the place in person some day! =]

Theo Lacy
Theo Lacy is the largest correctional institution in Orange County. I have been going to visit someone love very much for the past 3 1/2 months. I won't say who that person is and why they are in there. The first time I went I remember it seemed kind of scary but fun in a way. I realized how many people go see their husbands, sons, brothers, boyfriends, fathers, or just friends. The officers there are very nice and help you out a lot when it's your first time there. There are two that are nice but are big flirts with a lot of the girls that go there, they are very annoying sometimes. But there is one in particular who is just a wonderful person. He is one of the older men there and is probably the nicest person there, and he's very handsome. =]
Today I went to my visit and talked to a lady who turned out to be very funny and fun to talk to. She was complaining how the two officers that flirt are mean and rude to her. We started talking about who was mean and who was nice. It made the wait go by faster. She made me laugh when she was talking about one really annoying girl, who would talk to the two officers who flirt with girls and she said the was ugly anyways. I told her I have noticed how so many girls go dressed as if they were going to a Night Club, and she laughed and said those were the ones the officers flirted with.
Every time I go to my visit I dress nice and do my makeup all pretty, but I don't exaggerate on my outfit. I find it ironic how on the Internet page of the Theo Lacy Facility they mention their rules on clothing and it specifically say "Clothing that is derogatory, offensive, revealing, or deemed inappropriate by the visiting staff will not be allowed." And half of the girls that go definitely break this rule. =] It's a facility full of guys so I'm sure they all agree that it's okay if the rules are bent once in a while.

School
I have always liked going to school, even during the Summer I would take classes in advanced. This summer was the exception though, and it seemed to last forever. I got bored after the first month of vacation, and I couldn't wait to start school. Now that School has started I am loving it! I always wake up happy and with a smile on my face because I love waking up early every morning to shower and get ready for school. Every class is very fun and my day always seems to go by too fast. It is nothing like high school was and I enjoy college a lot more. I thought I would miss high school but I actually don't. I do miss the amazing teachers I had throughout high school because they all had positive influences in my educational career and helped shape who I am today. I plan to go visit them soon and tell them how college life is going so far. CSUF has been great so far because I have met many amazing people who make school a lot more enjoyable and make me happy to keep going every day. =] I hope every day continues to be just as fun!
